Moe Armstrong | OWL OUTBACK | I was with stage four aggressive cancer and going terminal. Doctors thought I might die. Night before I started my combined radiation and chemotherapy looked out my bedroom window at night. There was an owl sitting in the tree outside my window staring at me. We saw each other eye to eye. The owl flew away. I remember the swooping wings as the owl flew away into the night. I remember the face. The next morning I started my treatment for cancer. Maybe, the owl was a sign that I was going to make it through? I don’t have cancer….they destroyed my body and mind with the radiation and chemo. Cancer came from Agent Orange in Vietnam.
